Emily Ratajkowski Talks Pot and Coachella

Emily Ratajkowski has proved herself to be way more than “that hot girl in that Robin Thicke video,” and has become one of Hollywood’s fastest rising stars. Apart from being extremely attractive, 23-year-old Ratajkowski is an industry favorite––most recently appearing in Love magazine and CR Fashion Book––and is building a career for herself as an actress with her most recent role as Ben Affleck’s love interest in the box office hit Gone Girl.

In an interview with Elle the actress and model opened up about her rising stardom, and also revealed that she might be more down to earth than many would expect. Ratajkowski, who is a California native, said at a desert dinner party hosted by Rachel Zoe that although she would be missing Coachella this year that she is no stranger to all of the festivities.

Ratajkowski told Elle, “I've been coming to Coachella for years. I think, to me, I've already experienced it. My first Coachella was when I was 14 years old. I smoked pot for the first time—yes, you can print that! It was for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs show, and I thought it was the coolest thing in the world. Smoking pot, watching Karen O…I was definitely 14!”

So there you have it. Even one of the most attractive among us isn’t afraid to smoke and get a little grimey.
